Wheel thrown porcelain cup.

The glaze design takes inspiration from the swiftlet nests, which are made from the birds own saliva. These nests are harvested and sold as a health food. The bottom of cup uses throwing lines to reference a nipple. The combination of these motifs serve as visual references ideas of nourishment, protection, and feeding.
